The King has a Knife

(Downloading and running locally is recommended for best visuals and performance)

Use the king's magic knife to get combos and scale up its size! But be careful, your weapon also destroys the very coins you need to increase your score!

Enemies:

• Pawn: Swarms and moves slowly towards you (1 health)
• Rook: Moves towards you (10 health)
• Knight: Moves towards your mouse (3 health)

Controls:

• Move MOUSE to move the King
• LEFT CLICK to swing knife
• If your swing hits multiple enemies, you'll start a COMBO. You will swing again automatically with a bigger sword! This will continue for each swing that reaches a new enemy

Known issues:

• no audio (cut for time)
• Dying doesn't let you move even after resetting (cut for time)
• Lag spikes (web browser only)

This is my first ever game jam entry (and of course it ended up to be during my busiest weekend in ages lol)! I added a ton of juice to this game
